    I'm gonna try not to be all emo on this one.
    Altar Boyz. Hmmm... i think I've heard that before. 
    It brings everything back. The trials, the triumphs, the obstacles, the smiles, the frowns, the friendship... The journey. 
    This show is a Godsend. For me, in so many different levels. 
    This is probably my 5th attempt of creating a blog entry that would express how thankful I am to have been a part of this show. I don't think I'm gonna be successful though. Most of the things I want to say can't be contained here. Not even words can describe the bliss that I have felt during this amazing journey. So I'll try doing it like this:

    Well, my band plays "I'll slit my wrists" emo music while being inspired by this stunning mountai...

    Miracles do happen.

    Now I can say I have seen everything! I'm just more than happy to have been there to witness one of the best moments in blueREP history. The All Shook Up cast was doing their finale (Burnin' Love) when all of a sudden, in the middle of the song, the lights all went out! No sound, no band, no lights. No power. But holy guacamole, the newbies kept on singing and the drummer, Marphie kept on hitting the drums. Then everyone in the audience started to whip out their phones while cheering for the cast! In the end, some of the audience members got up, sang and danced with the cast! Flashbang ending.

    I've never seen anything like that. It's not what I physically saw (well, cause it was dark, doy!) but what I felt. It was so electric that it seemed to lift me. I couldn't stop myself from singing in the end! There was so much LOVE present in that room. I'm still in awe.

    In Hairspray it's 1962 - the '50s are out and change is in the air. Baltimore's Tracy Turnblad, a big girl with big hair and an even bigger heart, has only one passion–to dance. She wins a spot on the local TV dance program, "The Corny Collins Show" and, overnight, is transformed from outsider to irrepressible teen...

    It is the 1st of November and I am sitting here in front of a computer screen. Woopee. I am home alone yet again.

    While everyone is off to the cemetery paying homage to their loved ones, I am here paying homage to the television screen. Not good, I know.

    Right now, I feel like I can't say anything. I feel so blocked off and muted. I can't... express. At least there's one space where I can be honest. Things get better. Amen.

    There's nothing. A bum in the middle of the metropolis left with nothing to do and nothing to look forward to. That alone writes itself.

    How I miss those days when rehearsals are an essential part of my day. I miss those people always reminds you to sign the attendance sheet. I miss memorizing lines, notes, choreo and blocking. I miss having those body aches after doing 2 shows in one day. I miss the stage.

    What now? Now, we wait.
